For their Kohl Mansion wedding in Burlingame, CA, they blended a bit of both their cultures into the wedding festivities. They got engaged in Paris at Parc Monceau known for it's multi-cultural architecture, fitting the theme of their love perfectly.
They had a traditional Persian ceremony with the help and planning of Negin's mother, but also had the string trio play “One Love” by Bob Marley during the processional. They had Jamaican and Persian food, and sent their guests home at the end of the night with Jamaican black cake, which steeps from the tradition of old Jamaican weddings.
There was a lot to love about this wedding, with the undeniable connection between Negin and Gregory, the tight bond with their family members, the meaningful ceremony, and the gorgeous Persian dancing at the reception.
“We loved the ceremony, every minute of it,” Negin said. “Honestly there was so much love in the room. We just felt so blessed.”
Congratulations, Negin & Gregory!
